The title of this post might seem surprising. Indeed, we don't expect China having that kind of problems.
Generally, when we talk about demographic issues such as low birth-rates or ageing population, European countries come to mind.
But it turns out that the "one child policy" is actually shaking China's global equilibrium. This topic is one of the most important in Europe and governments are doing their best in order to find a solution. The debate is intense and different options are rising.
They often depend on where they come from in the sense that unfortunately, no consensus is found between right and left. Have a look at this article made by the economist.
