Kirklees businesses use vouchers to 'buy' knowledge

Businesses are being encouraged to "buy" knowledge and innovation with vouchers in West Yorkshire.

Kirklees-based businesses can apply for and redeem Innovation Vouchers worth £2,500 for experts and their knowledge through Kirklees Council.

Companies can use the vouchers to improve existing products and services, or to research new product design.

Universities and research organisations are involved in the scheme to help "develop new and innovative solutions".
